Hey there! In today’s video, take a look at the beaded jewelry I have created since last month’s Finished Jewelry Update video. This time I had a lot of fun playing with the May/June Bargain Bead Box, Gina’s Picks for June x Eureka Crystal Beads, and More. Hopefully this video provides you with some ideas and inspiration in your own beading and jewelry making! Feel free to let me know what you’ve been up to in the comments below!
Some Featured Finished Jewelry
Lapis Lazuli Beaded Chain and Fringe Necklace
This bold statement necklace is inspired by the contents of the May/June Bargain Bead Box. The silver plated chandelier component, chain, lapis pendant, and crystal beads came from the collection. Faceted cube and English cut lapis is included from my personal stash.Â
In the video, I share another, more simple, necklace design using lapis rounds and the same type of lapis pendant focal.
Floral Links Beaded Crystal Chaton Bezel Bracelet
Don’t miss the latest beading tutorial for this bracelet, inspired by the contents of May’s Beading School purchase! This design is really versatile, in the sense that you can make as many of these small beaded crystal components as you’d like, and put them together in so many ways.
In the video you will see the version I created in the tutorial, which is done in a much different blue/silver colorway.
I created this design in May, and this month I have returned with the full tutorial and three additional colorways. This is a great project for those who are newer to using two-hole bead shapes because it is a relatively quick project, and you get the experience of making two for a pair of earrings!
Design note: I picked the connectors to go along with this green/silver variety due to the shape of them, and how they imitate the shape of the beadwork itself. These connectors came directly from my stash, and were practically begging to be put into these earrings. 🙂
Special Announcement!
Be sure to mark your calendar for July 1 at Noon! It’s official – the Orchid and Opal x Eureka Crystal Beads Collection is being released next week, and I really hop you enjoy checking it out!Â
