All beads, including sparkly blue goldstone, electroplated agate, and iridescent clear glass stars, are from the December 2020 Bargain Bead Box subscription. I connected the large pendant with the two chandelier earring findings, as well as the loop sides of the toggle clasps. I meant to mention in the video that I snipped off two loops from each of the chandelier earring findings, and used a glass nail file to file the edges smooth.
This original bracelet design incorporates Miyuki Tila, Half Tila, and 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads. I have decided to call this pattern the Pleated Tila bracelet since the center canal of beads become gathered together and form the look of pleating or ruched fabric. Please see the dedicated blog post and video to see how you can make one of your own.
This is another original design, which also has a dedicated blog post, tutorial video, and downloadable beading pattern. I was challenged to create a new design based on some of the contents of the December Beads of the Month Club; Hot & Trendy – theme “Royally-Minded.” This necklace incorporates the three hole Czech glass Bridge Beads and Arcos Par Puca, as well as Minos, Gekko, and 15/0 seed beads, It’s a lot simpler to put together than it looks!
I made several of these seed and bugle bead Russian Spiral bracelets for the tutorial I shared at the very beginning of December. In addition to the bracelets, I also had a lot of fun with the same type of stitch, but using 3mm Fire Polish and 11/0 seed beads instead. I made longer woven ropes and turned them into necklaces. This stitch is a great way to show off beautiful faceted Czech Fire Polish beads, and it works up pretty quickly.
