About the Pattern:
This peyote ring pattern is inspired by the 11/0 Miyuki Delica beads I received in the August 2020 Rotating Beads of the Month Club. You can see the ring in action in this video, if you’d like to get a better idea of what it looks like in real life. I couldn’t help thinking this design would look amazing in a colorway with a black background, if you’d like to mix it up. Have fun customizing your colors!
Colors Used:
- Galvanized Dark Mint Green (stem)
- Matte Opaque Green AB (leaves)
- Transparent Pale Green Mist (center of flower)
- Galvanized Berry (outer flower petals)
- Claret Lined Opal AB (inner flower petals)
- White AB (background)
I added in the white AB color in order to make the floral design pop against the background.
Helpful Info:
TIP 1:Â I recommend using 6lb Fireline, and a Size 10 Beading Needle.
TIP 2: Make your ring just a smidge tight at first; it will loosen a tiny bit over time to give you a better fit.
TIP 3: Buy Miyuki Delicas with Duracoat finish if given the option. Metallic colors, in particular, without that coating may wear off over time, especially if worn often and/or around water.
