Welcome!
Hey beautiful! I have a fun surprise to share with you today in the form of a brand new bead subscription – the Darling Bead Box. I am excited to share this with my international friends, especially, since your choice of beading subscriptions is typically much more limited, and/or the shipping and customs fees are far too cost prohibitive. Feel free to share your thoughts about this new subscription down below, and if you’re located outside of the US.

This Month's Box Contents
November 2020 Theme: Stargazer
My favorite items are the two strands of blue goldstone beads; items #1 and #2. I think they are the perfect semi-precious gemstone material to include in a Stargazer theme! The contents include a variety of glass beads; rounds in multiple sizes, bicones, and the bonus black/blue electroplated, faceted drops. The gold findings compliment the theme well, and there are plenty of materials to make several items almost exclusively from the box. If the glass strands were all Czech glass and the seed beads were Japanese that would be even better; however, I am glad to see a new European bead box option to arrive on the scene.
Darling Bead Box Info
Darling Beads is a small Swedish company, whose owner saw the need for another European bead box option. Boxes ship World-Wide, on the 5th of each month, at a flat rate of 7€ (~$8 USD). They offer a one-time box, a month-to-month subscription, and three and six month options. The price of the box ranges from 27€ to 29€ (~$31.50 – $34), depending on the length of subscription you choose. Contents include up to 20 items, which range from gemstone and glass beads to focals and findings. Reach them at hello@darlingbeads.eu with any additional questions.

Do I recommend the Darling Bead Box? Yes - for the right person!
My thoughts: I think this is a very well-rounded beading subscription because it comes with a wide variety of different beads – gemstone and glass, findings, and other interesting components. The best part of this box for those located in Europe is that this box ships from Sweden. In many cases beaders located outside of the US do not have as many bead subscription options, or the cost and customs fees make the boxes too expensive. This is a great option for those who are more limited in box availability.
Overview:
Cost: slightly high for US (with cost of shipping)
