Welcome!
Hey beautiful! In today’s video, I will show you how to create the striped peyote stitch beaded bead caps that embellish the top of the spike agate pendants from the February 2021 Bargain Bead Box. Even if you do not have these specific agate pendants, you may use the same techniques shown to bead onto the top of any elongated bead, or pendant.
You may need to adjust the number of rows and/or beads that you use because the pendant sizes vary slightly. Please see below for the list of materials needed to make one of these.pieces.

Designing From the Bargain Bead Box
This is the second tutorial I’ve shared based on February’s box contents. If you’re interested in learning more about how I came up with these designs, see the post: How I Design Jewelry from the Contents of the Bargain Bead Box. It will give you a peek into my design process, and show you how I turn a bag full of raw materials into finished jewelry.
For further design inspiration, I think you will enjoy checking out my monthly Finished Jewelry Update videos, which feature many items from subscription boxes. I like to share finished pieces to help spread provide ideas to other beaders who may be in a creative rut, or stall. Not to mention, it’s more fun to enjoy the bead boxes when we share our finished work. It’s amazing how we can take the same materials, and in many cases, come up with completely different designs!
