About the Spring Blossoms Design:
Since this design originated from the contents of the Emerging Spring Collection, I was inspired to create a Sping-like piece! I started by creating one of the small components, which immediately reminded me of a flower. The larger, middle “blossom” began as another small blossom, but I continued to add to it, and tweak it, which resulted in the outcome that you see here. I love how the 15/0 seed beads frame the Czech glass beads, and give the beaded components a lovely texture that is reminiscent of flower petals.
A great feature of the Spring Blossoms Necklace is that the three blossom components are created separately. This means that it is totally customizable, and the two smaller pieces can be easily turned into earrings, or a beaded ring. The large blossom could be a single stand-alone pendant, and the list goes on!Â
Feel free to try swapping out the 4mm round beads on the outer edges for 4mm crystal bicone beads. In the blue necklace, I used bicones on outside of the large, middle, blossom, and it worked out well. Have fun picking out color combinations, and making this design in a completely different palette, if you’d like!
